Toshiba Blu Ray Players Soon!

At the end of the war in 2008, the Blu Ray association headed by the likes of Sony, Philips, Thomson, Panasonic, Dell and HP managed to pip the HD-DVD Promoting Group supported by biggies like Microsoft, Intel and uncommon Toshiba to bag the place of being THE format of choice. This happened in general because of the stance adopted by leading film distributors and studios to appropriate the Blu Ray format. To add to the agony of HD-DVD supporters, Sony's Play Bus station 3 came along soon after, with Blu Ray support of course.
In 2008, the war reached it tipping quality when the lone warrior of the HD-DVD alliance Toshiba announced that it would no longer construct HD-DVD players, thereby conceding defeat to the Blu Ray alliance. This happened almost a year ago. Secured forward to 2009 and now we have Toshiba reportedly inching towards entering the Blu Ray ply. The company has announced that it has applied for membership to enter the Blu Ray Disc Linkage and thereby become a licensed Blu Ray
